National food and agriculture business consulting firm K·Coe Isom, together with Mann Deshi Foundation of India, have announced a webinar series aimed to help farmers from the U.S. and India share knowledge and culture in an effort to promote cooperation in agriculture and trade practices.
“With 1.3 billion people, India is the world’s second most populous country and is a significant counterweight to China. It makes sense that farmers from the U.S. and India would seek to work together to boost exports and improve the livelihoods of farmers in both countries,” said Brian Kuehl, Director of Government and Public Affairs for KCoe Isom. “This virtual trade mission is an effort to spark that dialogue and look for areas of potential cooperation.”
Creating a platform for farmers to grow across borders
The first webinar in the series will be on the topic of ‘Agricultural Vision 2021: A Virtual U.S. and India Trade Mission’ and will feature prominent speakers to address the current trade culture between the United States and India, and address potential challenges and rewards stemming from this agricultural collaboration.
